Published every year, this index measures various aspects of Professional Gender Equality in the workplace. This score represents an increase of 2 points compared to 2024 and of 11 points since 2022, when Diagast scored 86/100.

Beyond the number, Professional Gender Equality is built on concrete practices that are built and assessed over a long time.

“This score reflects the daily actions taken to promote professional equality and allow that women and men can work under the same conditions with serenity. With steady progress, DIAGAST is moving closer to the maximal score. This evolution illustrates the progress achieved and the constant attention given to equal opportunities”

What is the Professional Gender Equality Index ?

Each year, the concerned companies calculate their Professional Gender Equality Index to assess differences between women and men based on several indicators. Depending on the workforce size, this index takes into account five criteria:

  • Wage gaps between women and men
  • Differences in individual salary increase rates
  • Representation of the underrepresented gender in the top 10 highest-paid employees
  • Differences in promotion rates (for companies with more than 250 employees only )
  • The proportion of female employees who received a salary raise in the year following their return from maternity leave.

This tool provides a snapshot of the situation at a given time and helps identify potential gaps while monitoring the evolution from one year to the next.

97/100: a progression that keeps going

With a score of 97/100, DIAGAST achieves a high level of compliance with the objectives measured by the Professional Gender Equality index.

Everyday, women and men contribute to the life of the company through various positions within the company: scientists, laboratory technicians, sales professionals, production teams, and many other professions. The challenge is to ensure that everyone can develop a career in an environment where skills, experience, and commitment are recognized equally, regardless of gender.

Achieving Gender Equality cannot be reduced to an annual score, this is an ongoing commitment that requires continuous attention to workplace practices, the regular assessment of potential gaps, and the implementation of actions that guarantee equal professional opportunities for all employees.
