The Valenciennes’ IFMS, the Valenciennes’ hospital, the EFS (French Blood Service) and DIAGAST have joined together to create a series of tutorials related to hemovigilance.

These 9 tutorials, available on DIAGAST’s Youtube channel, present all the regulatory (*) steps involved in performing a Red Blood Cell Concentrate (RBC) transfusion: from the checking of the patient’s identity, the reception of labile blood products, the transfusion protocol until the end of the transfusion.

For many years, DIAGAST has been involved with healthcare personnel (students and graduates) to provide them with its expertise as a manufacturer. DIAGAST is committed to support them throughout their professional career. These hemovigilance tutorials carried out in partnership with the Valenciennes’ hospital and the DIAGAST communication department are particularly in line with this continuous training offer.

A wide range of marketing supports (videos, poster, leaflet…) are available to health care and training establishments. This offer will soon be completed by an e-learning platform.

For more information on this subject, see you from 25 to 27 November 2020 at the SFVTT (French Society of Vigilance and Transfusion Therapy) congress to be held in Montpellier!
