Internal Quality Control
is a top priority in laboratory procedures and must
even be legally in some countries. The
results obtained in ABO-D grouping and RH-Kell phenotyping
of patient blood, can be validated on a daily basis
with the HEMA-CQI and SERA-CQI quality
control. Thus the working methods and reagents
used are checked and abnormalities detected (method, equipment,
reagents). Corrective measures can be implemented.
