Fabienne Saint-LouisIn France since 2007, young triathlete Fabienne St Louis dreams of representing the Mauritius colors at London Olympics. Her dream could become reality: with an excellent 24th place in Huatulco (Mexico), on May 6th, Fabienne took a major step towards the Olympics.

Focus on Olympics

Olympics represents the pinnacle of a career for an athlete. Thus this event is the major goal of Fabienne's season. Moreover, she will become the first triahlete ever to represent Mauritius.

"My personal goal in 2012 is obviously my qualification for the Olympics. It has been four years since my Olympic project began and participate would just be a dream, "she admits.

Under the leadership of David Bardi, the Mauritian triathlete has gone through successfully while learning to juggle the fragility of her body.
"I have total confidence in David for my workouts. As I'm fragile, I can not put excessive loads like any other. It is therefore much more quality than quantity in order to focus on long term."

A dream come true?

The Mauritian athlete could therefore write the most beautiful page of her career this August in London. To achieve her Olympic dream, she now spends all his time and his energy to his passion to make every effort to be present at this world major event. " I would thank the great sponsors like Inoven, Mizuno, DIAGAST who support me in my quest."
Currently positioned at 52nd place in the World Olympic standings, Fabienne knows that, except a last minute accident, she has secured her participation at London Olympics. "There are only three weeks before the verdict. Once qualified, my goal is to enjoy myself by running with the big names in triathlon and trying to finish in the middle of the pack."

At the olympic Games, the important thing is not to win but rather to participate. And enjoy a well deserved qualification.
