DIAGAST was present at the 31st congress of the I.S.B.T. (International Society of Blood Transfusion), which was held June 27-July 1st in Berlin in joint cooperation with the 43rd congress of DGTI (German Society of Blood Transfusion). The DIAGAST booth was shared in two parts:

- at one side, the QWALYS 3. The high performance Blood Grouping automated system has performed more than 1 200 tests during the congress, in real conditions and with real reagents. The demonstrations were performed in english, portuguese and russian to answer the needs of the international visitors coming from the whole world. The new features of the QWALYS 3 and the unequivocal results were able to convince many of the numerous biologists who visited us on our booth.

- at the other side of the booth, the TV stage. DIAGAST WEB TV was launched on Sunday June 27th. Among the most famous names of the Immunohaematology sector, seven speakers from seven countries were proud to participate at this launching and we were very honoured for their confidence. DIAGAST WEB TV give the oppotunities to surfers around the world to watch and listen all the debates and interviews live, about nowadays main issues and through a dedicated webpage of our site. A simple connection to receive expertise anytime, anywhere ! That is the goal of DIAGAST WEB TV and our main event of the year has been a total success. Downloadable videos concerning the interviews of the seven speakers will be very soon available on our site (under the "DIAGAST Channel" tab).

The DIAGAST Team

Of course, DIAGAST never forgets its Sport attitude and it was therefore logical that the DGTI Fun Run was sponsored by our company. The track runs through a beautiful forrest around the Berlin Olympic stadium, in the early and shinning morning. A DIAGAST team takes part to the race and, as usual, give the best they can. Busses, showers, complete breakfast, everything was done in the typical german organization and efficiency. Danke schön !

Finally, the poster summarizing the characteristics of the different blood group antigens and their associated antibodies had a huge success. You can still find it in the "Download" tab.
